
In a significant step toward fostering academic collaboration and advancing the field of computational linguistics, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Abdul Majid Bhurgri Institute of Language Engineering (AMBILE) and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Shaheed Benazir Abad, on January 29, 2025. The ceremony took place in the Multipurpose Hall of SBBU, marking a milestone in the partnership between the two institutions.
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro, Director of AMBILE, and Dr. Abdul Samad Dahri, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at SBBU. The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Syed Madad Ali Shah, Vice Chancellor of SBBU, and Mr. Abdul Majid Bhurgri, the founder of Sindhi computing and Lifetime Co-chairman of AMBILE, who have been instrumental in promoting Sindhi language and computational linguistics.
