Sindhi offline OCR
Offline Sindhi Optical Character Recognition (OCR) enables the conversion of printed Sindhi text into machine-readable digital format without requiring an internet connection. This tool is developed & available for all.
Bhittaipedia
We developed a comprehensive portal dedicated to the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, featuring machine translations in 130 languages, accurate transliterations, and detailed lexical density analysis. The portal includes a robust word-to-word dictionary, providing precise meanings for each term used in the poems. This project aims to make Bhittai’s timeless poetry accessible and comprehensible to a global audience.
Shah jo Kosh
“Shah Jo Kosh” is a comprehensive dictionary of “Shah Jo Risalo” that includes synonyms, antonyms, etymology of the word in world major languages and the weight of each word, grammatical parsing and sharing option of all major social platforms, as well as the specific verses where each word is used. This resource aims to preserve and disseminate the words of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. This resource will contribute to developed Sindhi corpus too.
IVC Script Font
The Indus Valley Civilization (IVC) Script Font is a specialized font that represents the ancient symbols of the Indus Valley Civilization, aiding researchers in studying and documenting this ancient script.
AMBILE Font
The AMBILE Multilingual Font is based on various scripts of Sindhi typography from Abul-Hassan Sindhi to modern writting. This font supports almost all Arabic-Perso based languages.
Online Hesudhar
Hesudhar (ھيسڌار) is an online tool which is developed by the Institute, where you can convert the given Sindhi text. This tool will replace all with corrected shapes to ensure they are accurate.
UNICODE Converter
This is an online converter tool where non-UNICODE content, which was composed before UNICODE allotment (i.e., structured by Ayaz Shah (AS), can now be converted into standard typography through this tool.
E. Trumpp Converter
This converts modern Arabic-Perso-based Sindhi to the typography of Mr. Earnest Trumpp, who compiled and first published Shah Jo Risalo in a printing press. This tool will help users understand the suggested letters.
Girdan Developer
This online tool will help you develop derivations of Sindhi language by allowing you to input the root of any infinitive word. It will generate a complete tree of possible derivations of the verb.
Culture Deptt: E-Library
The Institute has developed the Sindh Culture E-Library is a digital repository established by the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities & Archives Department of the Government of Sindh. It offers access to millions of digital books across various categories, including science, arts, literature, philosophy, and more.
SLA Library
AMBILE has developed the Sindhi Language Library, established by the Sindhi Language Authority, is a flagship initiative aimed at promoting, preserving, and developing the Sindhi Language. The library offers an all-inclusive web-based platform for accessing textual and audio-visual content related to Sindhi language and its history.

Sindhi WordNet System

AMBILE Hamiz Ali Sindhi OCR
The AMBILE Hamiz Ali Sindhi OCR is a Windows-based application designed to recognize and convert Sindhi text from scanned documents into editable text. Here are some key features:
- Multi-font support: It supports 62 different Sindhi fonts.
- Image requirements: For optimal results, the scanned images should have a resolution of at least 300 DPI and be properly aligned.
- Offline functionality: Once installed, the software can be used offline on your desktop or laptops.
This software is particularly useful for publishing houses, educational institutions, and researchers who work with Sindhi text.
The Institute is developed under umbrella of Culture Department, Government of Sindh for development and integration of Sindhi language technology, ensuring its preservation and promotion in the digital age. The institute aims to lead in research, innovation, and the creation of linguistic resources, fostering a technologically empowered future for the Sindhi language.
