Hyderabad, December 11, 2025 — The Abdul Majid Bhurgri Institute of Language Engineering (AMBILE), Hyderabad, had the honor of hosting two eminent scholars and public figures, Dr. Ramzan Ali Khuwaja and Senator Dr. Karim Ahmed Khuwaja, who paid an official visit to the Institute. The distinguished guests were warmly received by Amar Fayaz Buriro, Founding Director of AMBILE.
Dr. Ramzan Ali Khuwaja, a Java/Internet Specialist at the Computing Technology Laboratory (CTL), Nortel Technology, is internationally recognized for his work on Java-based mobile agent frameworks and intelligent systems. Holding a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, he has also served as a researcher at the Computer Research Institute of Montreal, where he contributed to the development of a web-based intelligent tutoring system. His academic and professional interests span emerging technologies, intelligent task automation, and AI-driven knowledge systems.
Senator Dr. Karim Ahmed Khuwaja, a psychiatrist by profession, is widely known for his humanitarian and legislative initiatives. He recently introduced a landmark bill on un-attended orphans, which has received strong support in the Senate of Pakistan. In addition to several forthcoming legislative proposals addressing national issues, he is the author of multiple books on environmental concerns and has worked tirelessly to combat sea intrusion in Pakistan’s coastal regions. Through the Doctors Forum, he has organized numerous medical camps for underprivileged communities across the country.
During the visit, Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro facilitated a comprehensive tour of all sections of the Institute, where the guests interacted with AI experts, software developers, and NLP professionals. Dr. Ramzan Ali Khuwaja presented copies of his recently published works, “Zahir and Batin: Understanding Shah Abdul Latif’s Poetry (Vol. I)” and “The Mathnawi of Jalal Al-Din Rumi: A Modern Rendering of Nicholson’s English Translation (Vol. I, Part I).” He acknowledged that the Bhittaipedia portal—an initiative of AMBILE—served as a primary scholarly resource for his book “Zahir and Batin.”
Expressing his appreciation, Senator Dr. Karim Ahmed Khuwaja praised the intellectual ambiance of the Institute and encouraged the AMBILE team to elevate the Sindhi language and its rich folk wisdom to international platforms through modern technology. Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro briefed the guests through a detailed presentation covering the Institute’s completed, ongoing, and forthcoming language and AI-driven projects.
The visit concluded on a warm note, with both guests meeting the Institute’s team and assuring their fullest possible support in the advancement of AI and language-technology initiatives. As a token of welcome and cultural respect, Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro presented the guests with traditional Sindhi Ajraks along with the Institute’s newsletters.
