Among the projects presented, a major highlight was the AI Law Assistant in Sindhi; a pioneering tool based on the Pakistan Penal Code. This AI-powered chatbot has been developed with the objective of providing accessible legal information to Sindhi-speaking citizens and promoting social justice across the province.
Another project in focus was the AI-based Sindhi Learning Portal for children, which uses gamified learning techniques to teach the Sindhi language in an engaging and interactive manner. The programming for this portal is currently under development and reflects AMBILE’s dedication to nurturing language skills among younger generations through innovative methods.
The delegation was also introduced to the Sindhi WordNet, a groundbreaking linguistic resource that is now live and available for researchers. It provides grammar tagging and supports advanced computational analysis of Sindhi, marking a significant milestone in Sindhi language processing and digital linguistics.
In addition to these projects, discussions were held on the proposed development of a Sindhi Large Language Model (LLM). The initiative aims to build advanced language models capable of understanding and generating Sindhi text, thereby positioning the language within the global ecosystem of AI-supported communication.
Mr. Noor Ahmed Samoo commended the dedication and technical expertise of AMBILE’s engineers and developers. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among departments and institutions to ensure the accuracy, scalability, and sustainability of AI-based language projects. He expressed his willingness to facilitate such institutional linkages and identify opportunities for collective advancement.
