Hyderabad: Secretary Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Archives Department, Government of Sindh, Mr. Khair Muhammad Kalwar, visited the Abdul Majid Bhurgri Institute of Language Engineering (AMBILE), Hyderabad, and inspected various sections of the institute.
On the occasion, Dr. Sher Mehrani, Director AMBILE, warmly welcomed the Secretary Culture and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. The Director AMBILE subsequently briefed the Secretary about the ongoing projects and activities of the institute, particularly initiatives related to Sindhi language computerization, OCR,STT.TTS,and language engineering projects.
During his visit, the Secretary Culture inspected different sections of AMBILE and reviewed the progress of its ongoing projects. He expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the institute and appreciated the efforts being made for the promotion and development of the Sindhi language through modern technology and language engineering.
The Secretary Culture also planted a tree in the garden of AMBILE, emphasizing the importance of plantation and environmental protection.
