On April 29th, 2024, the Abdul Majid Bhurgri Institute of Language Engineering had the honor of welcoming Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Esq., Chairman of the Institute and Provincial Minister of Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, and Archives – Government of Sindh. He was accompanied by Mr. Munawar Ali Mahesar, Director General of Culture, and Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Shaikh, Director General of Libraries.

During this significant visit, the Minister received a comprehensive briefing from Mr. Amar Fayaz Buriro, the Project Coordinator of the institute. Mr. Buriro detailed the progress and future plans of the ongoing projects aimed at advancing the Sindhi language. The Minister expressed his evident satisfaction with the initiatives, highlighting the positive impact of these efforts on the promotion and preservation of the Sindhi language.
